Step 1
consultation
It all starts with a phone call to discuss all the fun details!
Is there a reason you want to take photos now? What is it you hope to capture? Who will we be photographing?
How do you envision using these photos?
We'll pick the perfect location, I'll give you
tips for choosing the right clothing, and we'll go over any other details so you feel photo-ready for your session.
step 2
session
This part is easy- just show up
and be yourself!
Sessions with me are relaxed and fun. I aim to capture everyone's true personality in their portraits, which means I interact a lot with each child (read- act like a crazy person) and spend time making everyone feel comfortable.
Here's where my 15+ years of experience helps - I'm able to get great, natural expressions from any child, no matter the age.
Sessions take about an hour or so, but I never limit the time. I keep shooting until I'm confident we've captured everyone beautifully.
step 3
choosing & ordering
Now for the best part- getting to see and choose your images!
About 3 weeks after your portrait session, we meet in my Spring Valley, NY studio for a movie-like presentation of your images.
After choosing the ones you love most, you'll choose from our stunning collection of Fine Art Products.
I can also create mock-ups of custom-designed wall displays for any room in your home.
Design and order sessions take about 30 minutes, at the end of which you place your order and go home super excited, knowing your beautiful portraits will be arriving within 3 weeks.
