In my seven plus years as a photographer of children of all ages, I have noticed something funny. There seems to be a strong correlation between having a wild head of hair and a ton of personality! Now, of course this is in no way scientific, but I’ve seen it over and over again- the curlier the hair, the more adorable the personality. Little D. was no exception at his pre-upsherin session. At first he wanted nothing to do with me, but when I brought out my prop ball he became so animated and in between lots of rounds of catch with his father I was able to capture his true personality. I completely love photographing this age!
