There’s something special about the sessions I do for families making a Bar Mitzva Kiddush on Shabbos. I photograph them just a few hours before shabbos. Everyone is dressed and made up beautifully, and even though the day must have been insanely busy and stressful and hectic, I can barely tell. That’s how it was with the G. family- at this session, and at their older son’s bar mitzva that I photographed a few years back. Mom just exuded beauty and calmness and all the kids were so well behaved. There was an atmosphere of simcha and excitement that made me so happy I could be a part of it and capture that feeling forever. Check out the gorgeous metal wall display we designed together! It’s totally gorgeous.
