Yesterday I finally did something I had been pushing off for a really long time- I took pictures of my own kids. (Of course, I’m always snapping pictures of them, but here I’m talking about a real photo session, with the goal of getting some really nice canvas worthy shots) Ask any photographer and they’ll tell you that their toughest subjects are their own kids. Well, Hashem was with me, because they really did not give me a hard time. As a matter of fact, they ended up having tons of fun, and after about an hour and a half in the park we were done, and I got so many adorable shots that I think I’m going to have to make a photo book of the session. The first shot here is my absolute favorite from the entire shoot; I haven’t decided for sure but I’m thinking thats the one that’s gonna be printed as a huge canvas for my living room. As frustrating as it can sometimes be to photograph your own kids, the pleasure of knowing you captured them entirely makes it oh-so worth it.
Rina, your girls are totally gorgeous and look like they had a great time at this photo shoot. They’re growing up!
