Bar Mitzvah Portraits in Monsey, NY- NY Family Photographer

As a photographer, I always notice light. Wherever I go, whatever I’m doing, if there’s gorgeous or unusual light, I’ll always pause for a minute to notice it and think to myself, ooh I wish I could take some photos there. That’s how I came to do this adorable family’s pre bar mitzvah portraits in this gorgeous, sun soaked spot. It’s in the backyard of a neighbor of mine, and every time I drive by in the late afternoon or evening on a sunny day, it always has such beautiful golden light. So we asked them to use their yard and as luck would have it, the timing and weather were perfect, giving us awesome light for the entire session. Here are some of my favorite images.
