Ahh, Spring… Monsey, NY Child Photographer

It’s been a gray, gloomy, and wet week. But all the flowers in my yard are in bloom and I’d been itching to take my camera out for personal pictures for a while, so I went out a little with my willing, live-in model. The overcast skies let out just enough filtered light to make all the greenery seem ultra vibrant. I could have shot for another long while but my model does have his limitations and got bored pretty quickly. I usually stay away from the matte, very processed look in my photographs, but these pictures just called for something different and I had fun playing around with different edits. My favorite is the first shot, where I happened to have caught a petal as it floated down to the ground, along with a few round raindrops. Oh, spring, please stay a while!
